We're getting married!

It was the summer of 2003, she was fresh out of high school and he was in his last year (yes he is slightly younger than her, a smidge). Church was the setting: she was the new girl and he was the shy friend. As time went on she realized he was the best (guy) friend she'd ever had. Those were the best years of her life, no worries, no stress, only where to eat and how to get there. Friends and church and finding new roads to take. As the years flew by, she made different life choices and he experienced unexpected life lessons that were to test his faith. He never waivered, he trusted God and kept on walking. She learned a few lessons of her own, some that tested her faith and battles she didn't know how to fight. Well fast forward 15 years later, 2 kids, a cat and with no intentions of dating any time soon, he comes and reminds her of the friendship they shared. Her walls came down and she let him in once more, he showed her how beautiful love could be. Falling in love was inevitable, one would say it happened so fast. For them it was like they were finally home. After so many battles and tears and desserts crossed, they were finally able to rest and laugh and once again hope and dream. Just a story of redemption and of two friends finding love when they least expected it. Excited to start a new life together and believing that God has a better story for them then they could have ever written themselves.
