Our Story
We met during our first year of college at Bowling Green State University in August 2018! What started as classmates in Critical Thinking turned to a friendship of light academic banter that led Nate to ask Mary on a date during finals week in May 2019. After two dates and three long months of not seeing each other but talking on the phone every day, we became official in August 2019.
Through the years, we have conquered many big life moments together, from graduating from BGSU, Emerson College and the Ohio State University to living in four different cities to starting first (and second) post-grad jobs to traveling to new places and more.
On July 13, 2024, Nate took Mary back to the place it all started, BGSU, to ask for a lifetime of continuing to conquer big and small life moments together. Of course, Mary said "Yes!"

While in Prague with friends in December 2024, we decided to have an engagement photo shoot!
We took pictures in Praha 1, but crossed the Charles Bridge to Praha 2 to get more of Prague’s skyline behind us.
Nate asked Mary to marry him on July 13, 2024!
