What is the start and end time of the celebration?

Answer

The celebration at Belmont Park will start at 2pm and wrap up around 6:30pm, but please come and go any time that is convenient for you! Parking at NY State Parks is $8 without an Empire Pass.

Can we bring gifts?

Answer

We mean it when we say your presence is present enough. Although there will be no bridal shower, if you'd like to contribute to our future, please see our registry. Items can be shipped to the address provided. As new homeowners, we are deeply appreciative of your generosity. We have so much love for each one of you!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We will be at a park, so that is up to you! We are happy to have your kids (and dogs) attend, but if you need an excuse to get a babysitter, we are happy to be that excuse as well!

What is the food & drink situation?

Answer

We will be having trays of sandwiches and wraps, made-to-order smash burgers, and hot dogs as well as various and sundry items throughout. Beer & wine will be available. Please drink responsibly as we will be in a public park during peak hours.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Whatever you would wear for a day at the park. There will be a professional photographer, so if you want to use this opportunity for a free family photo for the Christmas card, dress accordingly!

Are there bathrooms?

Answer

Yes! The area of the park we plan to be in is close to 2 different buildings with bathrooms.

What if it rains?

Answer

Well, they say that is good luck! Although we will not have a pavilion, we will have pop-up tents set up in our area. If you'd like to bring one as well, that is appreciated! We will watch the forecast and if there is an expected wash-out, we will let everyone know our Plan B the day before. We appreciate everyone's flexibility on this--but let's all have good vibes for beautiful weather that day!
