She is my cousin. We lived next door to each other growing up. More times than not, we’d get into trouble, and I would end up with some kind of injury and have to be carried home. We then lived together for 2 years after we both finished college, and we had the best time!

Aubrie is my younger cousin. I used to babysit her when she was a little girl. We go on girls-only beach trips with our moms and sisters together whenever we can, and it’s always the best time. She is the little sister I never had.

Hannah is my friend from childhood. She and Sara became friends with me on the playground in elementary school, and we ended up cheering all through middle and high school together. She has been a witness to my many clumsy moments.

Sara is my friend from childhood. She and Hannah became friends with me on the playground in elementary school, and we all ended up cheering all through middle and high school together. Her parent’s house phone is one I still have memorized bc we called and talked on the phone with each other so often.

Sydney is one of my friends from childhood, but we became close when we started cheering together in middle school. We tore up the town in my Pontiac Vibe on the weekends during high school, and she is one that always makes me belly laugh when I need to!

Samantha is my friend from college. We were in Alpha Gamma Delta together and became close friends when we lived in the sorority dorms at UNA. I spent more time in her dorm room/in the chapter room with her while studying and goofing off than I did in my own room.

Kerstin is my friend from college. We met at a party and instantly became friends. Not long after, we became roommates and lived together for 3 years. Some of my best memories in college happened with her, and I always feel like I’m apart of the family when I’m visiting with her and her family.

Keeley is another friend I made in college, through Kerstin (Kerstin’s sister). We spent many nights in my college apartment watching movies, on the river in the summer time, and have taken many off-roading adventures. She is a fiercely loyal friend, who will always investigate things and stick up for you when you need her.

I briefly met Cooper at work at Boeing. We didn’t know each other well, but that changed once a little engineering friend group was formed, through our mutual friend, Tyler Staudinger. We also found that we both enjoyed hiking while on our first backpacking trip with some other hikers that were in far better shape.

Curt and I met in college when we played in The Million Dollar Band, trombone section. We later found out we were both pursuing bachelors in Electrical Engineering and studied together through college. We have been friends ever since, and Curt is now my brother-in-law.
Brian Dunlap

Like Curt, I also met Brian Dunlap in The Million Dollar Band, in the trombone section, and quickly became friends (also found out he to was an electrical engineer... go figure). He’s always been a great friend, and I enjoy the time spent with him. It’s great to see him and his wife, Susanna, raise their daughter, Eliza.
Tyler Staudinger

Tyler is my friend that I met at Boeing. We were both part of the young Avionics team and quickly became friends. We ended up being roommates for a number of years, and he is still a great friend, even though he's from the Jersey shore. He’s an experienced hobbyist and taught me how to brew beer. He’s also a great dungeon master in a campaign of Dungeons & Dragons.

Shane started out as my replacement, and I was to train him. He was new from California to Huntsville. I happened to have an extra Slossfest ticket, and he joined me on a whim. We had a great time. I found that he's very outgoing. He got the whole friend group out and about through Bikes & Brews and unarguably, he found himself to be everyone’s friend.

Laura is a friend that I met at Boeing. She made cubicle row visits when she started on the program. She quickly became friends with Shane and me. She has become a close friend to both Mer and me. We’ve spent a ton of time watching movies at her house, having dinner parties, and going to a board game night with her and her husband, Dan.

Ben is a friend that I met through Shane at a Bikes & Brews bicycle event. We became friends through a joint interest in disc golf and found that he is always on the water fishing on his off days. He enjoys a good DIY house/truck project, can talk french drains and Tacoma maintenance like no other, and has taught me a ton.
David Marquise

David is a friend of mine that I met at the Boeing Young Professional’s board game nights. He’s a very kind friend, who is always up to go out and easy to talk to. He always has incredible stories, and he and Shane together are a combination for an excellent time. He was the catalyst in my meeting Mer, as he was with me on the fateful evening that he chatted up Mer's friend, while I talked to her.

Jay and I briefly met at a terrible Boeing intern event for new hires, however, we didn't become friends until our mutual friend, Tyler Staudinger, introduced us. We ended up being neighbors as well. We have had wonderful trips with Cooper as well, with plenty of black bear experiences (they just want your food, not you).
