Call ahead for reservations for delicious food. We highly recommend and love this restaurant since it has been not only our first big date dinner, but our special night out restaurant. All items on the menu are delicious and they do have Coors Light.
If you just want to wander around, or maybe take kiddos to a Ferris wheel, Schells is your place. This place has all the outdoor gear you could dream of and it’s easy to walk out with a new shotgun or something for your fur kiddos for hunting. Interquest also has tons of restaurants and shops to explore, so head out to Scheels and see where you end up from there.
Talk about the best bloody Mary’s (or bloody Molly’s if you’re a whiskey gent or lady)! This is a great place to have breakfast or brunch and is located near downtown Colorado Springs. Come and enjoy delicious breakfast food with large portions.
If you’re looking for a cool spot to do Karaoke (Thursday-Saturday nights), look no further! Thunder & Buttons II features a great atmosphere, cool karaoke stage, and dancing to a variety of music. (Also a plus that it’s located in Old Colorado City.)
Talk about a cool zoo! This zoo is nestled in the mountains with excellent views and cool animals. Prepare to spend a few hours here taking in the mountain views, feeding the giraffe’s, and stopping by the gift shop. This is a must if you have kiddos with you!
Looking for a good steak? The Famous Steakhouse is one of the couple’s favorite spots to have delicious beer (Coors Light….along with other local brews) and hand crafted cocktails. This is an upscale place, so we recommend at least having a button down and putting on your Sunday best.
Do you like fondue? The Melting Pot is a great place to try both a cheese or sweet fondue. Definitely come to this place hungry because portions are large and are shareable. Recommend making a reservation on Open Table to ensure you can snag a booth or table as this is a popular spot in downtown Colorado Springs.
Ever been to a place with a brewery, desert, and multiple types of food all in one building? Look no further! COATI is a food hall with a cool atmosphere and food spanning several ethnicities along with some great beer and cocktails. Check this spot out!
Great park with lots of trails and ponds and even some play grounds. Not far from our home and the Bride’s favorite place to go for a run. Fishing is also allowed and you’ll see plenty of wildlife on the trails from deer, ducks, geese, and much more!
Great spot for both pool and karaoke! Karaoke is for sure here Friday night and is sure to have some excellent performers and some entertaining ones too! Good drink prices and some alright bar food available too.
