Originally opened in 1926, this hotel is included on the National Register of Historic Places and has repeatedly been awarded the coveted AAA Four Diamond award. The exquisite Congress Ballroom will host our ceremony and reception with its gorgeous chandeliers, mirrored walls, and stunning terrazzo floor. Our cocktail hour will take place on the Mezzanine level of the hotel. Located within the Power and Light District, this hotel is next to one of the stops for the Kansas City Streetcar line that runs from the River Market past Union Station and to the UMKC campus. Additional nearby attractions include the Music Hall Complex, the renowned Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and a wide variety of dining options and nightlife.
