May Wedding Cancelled

Mary and Jack met in 2015 through a mutual friend during a night out at Penn State. The pair got along very well, but once the next day came, didn't have each other's number. Two months pass by and Jack and Mary run into each other again before Thanksgiving--this time, they knew better than to let each other fade away. Sparks flew, and before they knew it, Mary and Jack were dating by December. Mary knew Jack was the one on their first date -- a dinner that turned into a two and a half hour meal with two desserts. There could be no better match! Their time at Penn State let them build a foundation of love, trust, and fun! Whether with friends or just each other, Mary and Jack were always smiling. In January 2019, Mary and Jack went to celebrate Jack's sister, Molly's 21st birthday -- or so Mary thought... As they were walking across Old Main Lawn with Jack's family, Jack stopped and got down on one knee. Mary was so surprised and couldn't believe what was happening. Then, Mary's family came bounding up the lawn and everyone was celebrating. The day was very special-- Mary and Jack continued to celebrate with family at the restaurant that they shared their first date!
