Airport Information

Charlottesville is served by Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO), just 20 minutes from downtown and our wedding venues. CHO offers convenient connections through major hubs. Additional options include Richmond (RIC), about 1 hour away, and Washington Dulles (IAD), about 2–2.5 hours away. Rental cars are recommended for RIC and IAD.

Train

Amtrak

Charlottesville is also accessible by Amtrak, with service to Charlottesville Union Station in downtown—just minutes from our wedding venues. Routes connect through major cities including Washington, D.C., New York, and Chicago, making train travel an easy and scenic option for many guests.

Updated Hotel Information (as of March 17)

Our room block at the Kimpton has largely filled up, but there are still several great lodging options nearby. As of March 17, availability remained at Days Inn by Wyndham Charlottesville/University Area (a budget-friendly option), Oakhurst Inn, and Boar’s Head Resort (a more upscale stay). The Inn at Court Square also has available rooms. We also highly recommend exploring Airbnb options—particularly in and around the University of Virginia campus—for convenient and charming accommodations close to the venue.
