Where should I stay?

Answer

While we have a room block at the Hampton Inn near the venue, we assume most people will stay at beach condos and other rentals in the Pawley's Island, Litchfield, and North Litchfield area. We recommend looking at Airbnb, VRBO, and looking at the local rental companies in the area. Since our wedding is the weekend before easter, we recommend booking early to make sure you are able to book weekend dates instead of a full week! Please see the "Travel" page for more details.

Do I get to bring a plus one? Or Kids?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be an intimate celebration with those who are closest to us. While we know you are spending your time to celebrate with us, we hope you can understand the guest list is very limited and we can only accommodate a certain number of people- which is why we are unable to give every guest a plus one. Please refer to your formal invitation, which will include the names of the guests invited to attend. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mary Layton and Thomas.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional with suits and long cocktail dresses preferred. You do not need to worry about sand or grass when making your shoe choice, there are paved walkways everywhere at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperatures in April are 74 (high) to 53 (low). The ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please use the names listed on the invitation to mail back your RSVP card before Saturday, March 1st. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

We will provide a bus that will pick the guests up at 4:00 pm at Hampton Inn Pawleys Island. The transportation will be provided at the end of the night to go back to Hampton Inn Pawleys Island.

Where should guests park? Is Parking free?

Answer

Parking is free! We will be saying our “I Dos” in Azalea Row at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Murrells Inlet located at 369 Caledonia Dr, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. The cocktail hour and reception will follow right after within a 2-minute walking distance from the ceremony site. You can park your car anywhere in the parking lot of Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will have several food stations at the wedding with diverse options (including vegetarian, GF, etc.) Please reach out if you have any specific restrictions and we will be sure you are accommodated.
