The Kimpton is located Uptown, roughly 10 minutes from Christ Church and 6 minutes from the Morehead Inn. Its location makes it walkable to many coffee shops and restaurants Uptown.

The Grant Bohemian opened recently in Charlotte, and is, by all accounts, stunning. Slightly more elevated than the Kimpton, it's still 10 minutes from the church and 8 from the reception.
