Excellent soul-food on the West Side. Known for being the meetup place of Civil Rights Activists in the city. Mary Kay and Chase used to walk here from her apartment for takeout during the pandemic lockdown. We recommend the peach cobbler and anything fried.
Tiny Lou's
This is French fine dining, y'all. Mary Kay and Chase celebrated their first anniversary here, and if you're staying at the Hotel Clermont, all you got to do is walk downstairs. It's been restored to its amazing vintage glory, and it's named after Tiny Lou, herself, who refused to dance for Hitler.
