FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re registered exclusively on Zola! Some of our items are linked from other websites, but you can find everything—including our honeymoon fund—under the “Registry” tab on our Zola page.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There’s no official dress code, but we kindly ask that you dress appropriately for the occasion. Think dresses or nice outfits for the ladies, and polos or button-down shirts for the gentlemen.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please note that invitations are addressed to specific guests only. We kindly ask that you do not bring a plus-one unless it was clearly stated on your invitation. Unannounced guests may be turned away due to limited seating and catering arrangements.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we kindly ask that no children attend the wedding unless specifically named on your invitation. The only exceptions will be our flower girl, ring bearer, and younger siblings.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests do not arrive more than 45 minutes early. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, we ask that you join us afterward for cocktail hour and the reception. We appreciate your understanding as we hope to keep this special moment uninterrupted.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue, Ivy Hall, has plenty of parking available. When you arrive, you’ll find parking lots on both sides of the manor for your convenience.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We’ll kick off the evening with a cocktail hour, followed by a reception with a buffet dinner. While we won't be able to take individual meal requests, we will offer a variety of options. If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Answer

As we are having a dry wedding, there will be no alcohol served at the event. We kindly ask that you respect this decision and refrain from bringing your own drinks. Your understanding and cooperation mean a lot to us.

Question

Will there be a welcome party?

Answer

While we won’t be having an official welcome party, we’d love to spend some time with any traveling guests before the big day! We’ll be hosting a casual get-together where you can grab a slice of pizza and have a chance to see the bride and groom. This is an open invitation, so feel free to stop by and leave as you wish.
