What is the closest airport?

Answer

T.F. Greene (PVD) is the closest airport (50-minute drive to the Shelter Harbor Golf Club). Alternative: Bradley International Airport (BDL), a smaller-hub airport, is a great option as well (1.5 hours to the Shelter Harbor Golf Club). Larger airports include: Boston Logan Airport (BOS) (2-hour drive to venue) New York City (JFK) (~3-hour drive to venue) New York City (LGA) (~3-hour drive to venue)

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is: Black-tie optional Please note: Servicemembers: For the wedding ceremony, servicemembers are encouraged to wear Dress Blue "A" uniforms. There will be enough time to change over to a tuxedo, suit, or dress following the wedding ceremony before the reception. Additionally, the venue is tented over grass. Please choose your footwear appropriately.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Guests can expect comfortable days with cooler nights. Fall in New England is ideal! Please note the wedding will be tented outside. There will be heaters, but please plan accordingly.

Will there be parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, both St. Clare's and Shelter Harbor Golf Club have plenty of parking for guests.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 1:45PM at St. Clare's Church. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00PM.

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided to/from the ceremony at St. Clare's church. There is plenty of parking and guests will have time to go back to their hotel between the ceremony and reception. Transportation will be provided to/from the reception.

Will transportation be provided to the reception?

Answer

Yes. We will provide transportation to and from Shelter Harbor Golf Club from the Shelter Harbor Inn, Hotel Maria, Pleasant View Inn, and Breezeway Resort. Shuttles will arrive at 4:15PM, and leave Shelter Harbor at 10:00PM.

Can I bring a guest/plus one not listed on my invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will be having family style dinner. Please let MaryKate or Mike know if you have an allergy.

Question

What is the shuttle schedule?

Answer

The shuttles will run to/from the Shelter Harbor Inn, General Stanton Inn, Breezeway Resort, Hotel Maria, and Pleasant View Inn. 4:30 PM: Shuttle to Shelter Harbor Golf Club (Please be ready a few minutes early as the shuttle will leave promptly at 4:30) *Shelter Harbor Inn guests will be picked up closer to 4:45 PM* 9:00 PM: Shuttle service will begin for guests wishing to leave on the earlier side. 10:15 PM: The final shuttle will leave from the Shelter Harbor Golf Club (with an option to continue the party at the Shelter Harbor Inn!) 10:30 PM- 12 Midnight- The shuttles will be available until midnight to take guests back to their hotel. (Hotel Maria, Breezeway Resort, General Stanton Inn, and Pleasant View Inn). The final shuttle will leave at midnight.
