Friends since middle School, Sara and I are legit sisters. Sara whipped me into shape for basketball season (B-team captain, NBD), pierced my ears with an ice cube, and has probably cried with me more than anyone. I have grown up with her and am truly amazed by her strength, compassion, and overall badassery. Her family is my family, and vice versa. As an added bonus she's not embarrassed to 2-step with me.

Heather has made me laugh so hard I've peed my pants. She is truly one of my favorite people to be around. Heather always keeps it real, and will always eat whatever I bake. She can also throw a football better than most men, which I admire but am insanely jealous of. I'm so happy I met her through Joey and I'm super excited to be her friend for a long, long time.

Britters is my fave little fritter. Technically I asked her out before long-time Beau, Bolton (the officiant) did, because I knew she was a real deal girlfriend. She's stuck with me through A LOT, and is loyal to a T. This woman knows more about the OKC Thunder than you, is a Chiefs kingdom convert just like me, and lives for athleisure.

I mean, what do I even put here. If you know me, you probably know Michel, which means you know how important we are to each other. Down since (literally) day 1, he's been my best friend, my karaoke partner, dance partner, and #1 cheerleader. He loves with his entire heart, and he is unequivocally the most talented person in any room. Don't even play.

My sweet Roiya darling. After years of a casual friendship, the universe made us roommates and the rest is history. Roiya helped me through some trying times, while simultaneously creating a forever safe space for my insane pisces brain. Also, as roommates she introduced me to Mr. Joey Haug and played middle-man while he patiently awaited my availability, so-she's the real MVP here (sorry Eric). She doesn't like football that much but she really tries and I love her for that.
Samantha Strahan

For about a year I didn't think Sam liked me. But in hindsight I know now she is just that damn chill. When I realized she DID like me, I also discovered she was my kindred spirit. She is so genuine, thoughtful, and fun. Just like me, she's social when she wants to be but will also lay in bed and eat fried chicken with you while watching movies for hours on end (fast forwarding through VERY large chunks of scary flicks).

Natasha and I met through Hayley (shout-out to the best make-up artist in the Midwest), and since that first meeting she's always been one of my favorite people. She's the only person who will talk to me about public health stuff and genuinely be interested, but she's also just a really good listener who will drop everything if you need an ear. She has a passion for food and sweets and all things imbibe-able (not a word) which I obviously love. Makes a mean batch of black bean brownies.
TJ Apple

Half-brother in your programs, blood-brother in your hearts. Extremely proficient thrower of cornhole bags and constructor of Old Fashioned's. Once assisted Joey in the creation of bootleg-morse-code to communicate through the walls, after they were grounded to their rooms for fighting with each other. TJ has really high emotional intelligence, a huge heart, and is the best brother anyone could ask for.

Associate Best Man, and the reason Joey is in Oklahoma (thus, the reason he met MK, and the reason you're coming to party). Also gave Joey his first set of hand-me-down golf clubs, so he's to blame for that current addiction. EG is truly one of the most thoughtful people and best friends you could ever hope to meet. Future Mayor of Oklahoma City.

Trav was (one of...hi Raddy!) Joey's first roommates at Coastal Carolina. Under a prickly sarcastic exterior lies a great guy with a big heart, but don't tell him I told you. He has been there for Joey through a lot of life's ups and downs. Perhaps best known for his three-pitch arsenal on the mound as a successful professional pitcher: fast-fastball, medium-fastball, slow-fastball.
Sean Stier

Big-bearded grizzly boy who has survived 30 years on this earth without ever participating in leg day. Yet another one of the most loyal, best friends anyone could ask for (sensing a theme here). We've yet to meet anyone who doesn't absolutely love Sean. You'd be happy if he was your son, or dating your daughter, or one of your best friends. But you can't have him because he's ours.
Dom Duggan

Former teammates at CCU, Joey & Dom's bond grew even deeper as coaches at Coastal Baseball Academy. As they said, misery loves company, and dealing with 75 kids aged 9-13 (and their parents) brought that statement to life. Many long days with hot temperatures on the ball fields, followed by longer nights with cold beers afterwards. Dom is a genuine, caring man and one of the sweetest guys you'll meet..
Shawn Martinez

Shawn is Joey & TJ's cousin, but functioned as a cousin/brother/uncle hybrid for the two of them growing up. He developed their love of football and sarcastic humor. He's always been there for Joey, and literally anyone/everyone in their family. Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th, Memorial Day...come over to Shawn & Regina's anytime and you'll be welcome coming in the door. Also a Grade-A Tailgater.
JW Fleming

JW is an Oklahomie who hadn't met Joey until he moved here. But they quickly bonded over their shared love for sports, reading, rap music, and laughing at Eric. JW is a silent assassin and excellent striker of the golf ball. Joey loves testing JW's patience on the course by asking for distances on every single ball using JW's watch/range finder. Joey chose JW to be an Usher because his love of meeting & talking to new people.
Jonathan Miles
Usher
Jonathan worked with Joey at Downwind Sails in Myrtle Beach, renting out jet skis, parasail/banana boat/sail boat rides, etc. He helped Joey learn the ways of The Beach, and most of their memories are ones that can't be typed out in preparation for a family event. Ironically, Jonathan is now a prosecuting attorney for the state of South Carolina. Jonny Law is unequivocally one of the funniest people you'll ever meet.
Brian Asbell

Brian and Joey met in Oklahoma City and quickly became homies. A shared love of golf, fantasy football, and whiskey brought these two basic white boys together. "Slaz" is a great dude...even though it puts us over the allowed quota of Steelers fans in the wedding party (+ Dom).
