Home to some of the most breathtaking views of Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and the Pacific Ocean. And also home to some of the most beautiful art!
Santa Monica Pier is right down the beach from the Fairmont. It becomes super crowded on the weekend, but it's a great place for a sunset stroll.
Take a stroll down Abbot Kinney Boulevard and you'll be sure to stumble across charming, quintessential Venice shops. It's home to some of our favorite restaurants, clothing, specialty shops in LA.
If you have time over the weekend, we highly recommend taking the 'Sweat Chizzle' class at Sweat Yoga in Santa Monica. It's challenging, but you will feel so great afterward!
Temescal Canyon Trail offers a couple beautiful hikes with amazing, beautiful views of Downtown LA to the Pacific Ocean. It's a super quick drive/uber ride from the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica. It's one of our favorites! Taking viewpoint trail is pretty challenging, but worth it for the views. We recommend doing this hike in early morning or evening to avoid the LA summer heat! Don't forget sunscreen and a hat!
A few miles up the PCH is Malibu Farm. It's located on the pier and offers healthy, seasonal, and delicious food. It's one of our favorite spots for brunch! The views and the cocktails make for a relaxing meal. Just be mindful of the wait, it's a pretty popular spot and you'll be visiting on a holiday weekend.
Reel Inn is a great, hole-in-the-wall lunch spot right off the PCH. They serve fresh seafood and have a super cute patio to hang out, eat some yummy food, and take in the scenery. it's very reminiscent of a seafood spot off 30A in Florida for all you southerners :). Perfect, post-hike lunch spot!
Elephante is a lovely spot to grab some cocktails and watch the sunset. it's a new, hip spot in Santa Monica which means you may want to make a reservation. They also have great food and the ambiance is hard to beat!
This is a super cute, quaint doughnut and coffee cafe just a short walk down the street from the Fairmont Hotel.
Sweet, clean, pretty nail salon located 5 minutes by car from Fairmont Hotel.
We came here to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was one of the best meals and experiences we've had in LA so far. If you have a free night for a romantic dinner, this is a beautiful place to visit. It's located in Venice, just a 10 minute car ride from the Fairmont.
This is one of our favorite date-night spots to go to. They serve up some of the best cocktails and amazing Indonesian food in LA. You can't beat the energy here either!
