We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We would be happy to recommend trustworthy babysitters in the area if needed.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We are looking forward to your company!
In order to offer a range of accommodations in Saratoga Springs during track season, we have arranged blocks at four hotels. As such, there will not be a shuttle between all four hotels as the ceremony site. Uber and Lyft are ubiquitous in the area. Check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need to plan your trip.
If you have previously made reservations at the Gideon Putnam, please note that the hotel is generously offering a 15% discount this time around!
Following these directions will make getting to our breakfast picnic much easier! There is more than one entrance to the park from Rt 9. The main entrance is at Roosevelt Drive. Pass that and use the entrance just south of the park’s main entrance, turning onto East West Road. On this road, you will come to a Toll Building. Hand in this ticket to the Toll Collector & tell him/her that you are guests of the Anderson/Dienel party. Continue on East West Road over a small bridge, take the second right onto Geyser Loop Road. On Geyser Loop Rd, pass a small playground, use the second parking lot on your left into the Geyser Picnic Area. Parking here you will see a building marked “Creekside Classroom” (restrooms located here). To the left of this building see a wooden bridge over the creek - cross that to the Karista Pavillion.
