We're so excited to celebrate with you!!

Once upon a time, there was a website created called CatholicMatch. Jacob was serving full time as a FOCUS missionary in Indianapolis connecting with others on CM, while nothing seemed right. Meanwhile, Maryjacqueline was settling into the newness & abundance of good in South Bend. Over Christmas break in 2020, Maryjacqueline's friends convinced her to sign up for the famous CM. One week later he saw her profile. After a week of fretting about what to say, he finally sent her a message... which led to a video call in mid-January... which led to a first date at the ND Grotto followed by drinks and Irish food at Fiddler's Hearth in the Bend. Date one led to becoming official on three, which led to months of joy, change (Jacob ending his time with FOCUS & moving to SB while preparing for Physical Therapy school), friendship, falling deeper in love, travel all over the US (mostly for weddings), meeting the families, Jackie finishing grad school, and further confirmation that both Jacob and Jackie felt called to spend the rest of their lives together in marriage. ~~~ Father John Parks once said, "God is always right on time." To an outside perspective, much of life has been had before we met each other. Much waiting, much transition, much heartbreak, much growth, and much challenge. And yet, God is always right on time. The journey to meet each other, I believe, has not just been time wasted, but time spent living the life God has called us to live. The time was one of deepening, preparation, and has been the path that has led a boy from Spokane, WA to meet a girl from... all over ;), and to prepare for marriage together. Friends, it is an honor to invite you into this time of our lives, that God has given. We are grateful for the gift of each other, and for the gift of you all who have supported us and been in our lives along the way. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this gifting of our beautiful sacrament together. <3
