Our Wedding Ceremony

Music will begin at 1:30 pm. If driving, please note that only street parking is available, so please be prepared to walk several blocks to the church. If more comfortable, please consider taking an uber or a taxi, or walking if a nice summer day. The reception site is just under a mile from the church.
Our Wedding Reception

Our reception will begin after the ceremony. We expect dinner and dessert to be complete around 6.30p. Guests are welcome to linger until 9p. The Charles Gates Dawes House is a National Historic Landmark and home of the Evanston History Center. Our guests will be able to tour through the magnificent Great Hall, gracious reception parlors, expansive library, galleried dining room, and historic kitchen. Some of our reception will be under a tent outside on the grass, which can be soft. The reception site is just under a mile from the church. Like the church, it is in a residential area with limited street parking. If driving, please expect to park several blocks away and walk. If more comfortable, please consider taking an uber or a taxi, or walking if a nice summer day.
