Question

When can we expect to RSVP for the wedding, and what is the deadline?

Answer

The RSVP section of our wedding website will be available very soon! We're putting the final touches on it to ensure a smooth and easy process for all our guests. You can expect to see it go live within the next few days. Please remember to RSVP by May 15th, 2024 as this will help us make the necessary arrangements to accommodate everyone comfortably. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated and will assist us in finalizing our plans. We're looking forward to celebrating our special day with you!

Question

As a guest, where should I start in planning my trip to Hvar?

Answer

We suggest reading through the "Schedule" and "Travel & Accommodations" sections of our website before making any plans. These sections provide a more detailed overview of our wedding weekend, and we hope these sections answer any questions you might have about getting to, and staying in Hvar.

Question

When should I plan to arrive in Hvar, and when should I plan to depart?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive in Hvar morning/afternoon on Friday, September 27th in order to ensure their presence at our Welcome Soirée Friday night at 8 PM. Guests will be able to check in to wedding weekend accommodations provided by the couple on Friday, September 27th & check out on Monday, September 30th.

Question

If I'm arriving Friday the 27th and leaving Monday the 30th, do I need to book additional accommodations?

Answer

No -- if your travel plans have you arriving on Friday 9/27 and departing Monday 9/30, all you need to do to confirm your stay is: 1.) RSVP on our website by May 15th to secure your place at our complimentary accommodations, and 2.) Email the hotel concierge to arrange your Split airport to Hvar speedboat transfer.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are pleased to provide complimentary accommodations for our guests at the Hvar historic heritage hotel Palace Elisabeth, and its adjacent sister property, for the nights of September 27th, 28th and 29th. For our guests arriving before Friday and/or leaving later than Monday, we highly recommend all other hotels of Sunčani Hvar hotel group (Hotel Adriana, Hotel Riva, Beach Bay Hotel and Hotel Amfora). Please note reservations at any of these hotels would only need to be made for any nights beyond those covered as part of our wedding weekend at Palace Elisabeth and its sister property.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimacy of the venue, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless otherwise specified. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are very sorry, but we are unable to extend the invitation to children. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will commence at 3 PM, and we kindly ask our guests to arrive at the Cathedral by 2:45 PM to find their seats. Please note the Cathedral is in close walking distance from Palace Elisabeth hotel.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! For Friday Night's welcome party, dress code is "Summer Cocktail" (stylish and elegant attire suitable for warm weather). No jeans, shorts, sneakers or flip-flops please. Jackets encouraged – no tie required. For Saturday's Ceremony & Reception, dress code is Black Tie.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please note that once you're on the island of Hvar, all wedding weekend events are short 5 to 7 minute walks from the hotel. The ceremony is a 5 minute flat walk from the entrance of the hotel to the cathedral, and the hotel is also our reception venue. On Friday night, shuttles will take guests to the Welcome Party at the Fortress. More to come on pick-up/drop off times later. Please note there are stairs outside of the Fortress, but once you’re inside, there will be plenty of seating & lounge areas.

Question

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! There will be a vegan & gluten-free option at the reception. When you RSVP via our website, you will have the chance to let us know in advance if you have specific dietary restrictions.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

Please note that our ceremony will include a traditional Catholic mass, held in a church from the 6th century...to maintain the sacred and reverent atmosphere during this sacrament, we kindly request that no photos be taken during the wedding ceremony. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos during the celebration afterward. We hope you understand, and we look forward to having you join us in celebrating this special day :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Coming soon :)
