We’re getting married!

Mary Elizabeth went out to drinks with a friend named Jillian and they chatted about how her last relationship had been quite a disaster. Jillian said well there is this amazing guy in my acting class, honestly if I wasn’t in such a great relationship myself, I would date him! She sent him a picture of Mary Elizabeth that night, and Arturo waited 3 WHOLE DAYS to reach out. Arturo and Mary Elizabeth met up at a restaurant and he always likes to remind her that she was late for the first date. In her defense, her shoe BROKE on the way to the date! Mary Elizabeth had ran into a store and bought some cheap shoes and made it to the date where the two of them immediately hit it off. He was a great listener, which we all know is important for this chatty woman. Funny enough they then tried to go to a bar to play games and the bar would not let them in because her shoes were backless, these were the last minute shoe purchase she had to make on the way to the date. Well they improvised and found somewhere that did not discriminate against backless shoes! Mary Elizabeth and Arturo both knew by the end of the night that this was the beginning of something special! Thank you Jillian for changing our lives!

On a cloudy Sunday, Arturo nervously checked the weather constantly as he had some exciting plans. Thankfully the weather held off and Arturo and Mary Elizabeth were able to go out on the private sailboat that Arturo had booked. The moment the boat sailed in front of the Statue of Liberty the sun came out from behind the clouds and Arturo got down on one knee and Mary Elizabeth said, "YES, YES, YES!" We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with all our favorite people!
