FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal. Suits with ties or elevated separates. Long dresses or dressy midi dresses are great. Since part of the evening is in an outdoor courtyard, you may want to bring a wrap or sweater if the night gets chilly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Both the Hart and Smith families are quite large, so we had to be thoughtful with our guest list. We kindly ask that only guests named on the invitation attend- thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot adjacent to the church.

Question

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

Valet parking will be provided for your convenience. Due to limited availability, we recommend carpooling or utilizing rideshare services.

Question

Will there be food options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes. We will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten‑free options. Please let us know at RSVP if you have any food allergies or other restrictions not listed, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Question

Will there be photographers & can I take photos?

Answer

Yes, we will have a professional photographer as well as a content creator taking photos. We ask guests to refrain from using phones during the ceremony (unplugged ceremony) to help everyone be fully present. At the reception, however, we encourage everyone to take photos and to please share those with us as you're able!

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There's a little time between the ceremony and reception, so check out "Things To Do" section for nearby spots to grab a drink, enjoy the waterfront, or explore downtown Buffalo while you wait for the evening fun!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at St. Louis Church. Dinner will be held indoors at The Saturn Club, but we hope to dance the night away under the stars in the beautiful courtyard. Buffalo evenings in the fall can be crisp, so may need to dress warmly!
