It’s impossible to know where to start when I talk about Katie, but the reason she is my matron of honor is very simple. Katie is standing next to me on the happiest day of my life because she’s always stood next to me on the saddest days. She’s stood by my side for 34 years; for every major moment, and every teeny tiny one too. Happy, sad, or just plain boring, Katie is there. She’s my sister, my best friend, and the one I’ve looked up to since I crawled after her before I could walk. Our memories are as endless as the love I have for her. ❤️

Cousin, friend, genius, all around amazing human! Caroline and I have grown up together, and she’s like another sister. Love, love, love her!! Even though we are 8 years apart, we have never felt that age gap. We are so lucky that our moms always had us playing together growing up. She is one of the most kind-hearted humans on this earth, and soooo so funny. Caroline has the best one-liners, and I know she will keep me calm and laughing all day on our wedding day. She is truly the light in any room. Your can’t be around Caroline and not be smiling. I’m so lucky to have her ❤️

Katie and I won the lottery when we got Amy for a sister in law!!! If you’re around Amy, you’re probably laughing and smiling. She’s sure to keep all the calm, positive vibes rolling on the big day. It’s easy to see why my brother, Chris, loves her so much. You can’t not adore Amy ❤️ She is also the best DJ with all the best playlists. I know with Amy around we will all be dancing through all the fun wedding events, all the way up to the big day! I’m honored she’ll be standing beside us, and even more honored she’s one of my dearest friends ❤️

Jodie Sproul

I met Jodie 7 years ago soon after I met Rax. Aside from being one of my closest friends, Jodie has also been my running buddy, and is now my co-worker. How many people get to go to work with one of their besties everyday!? She is the picture of positivity, and is as loyal as they come. I broke my foot when we were training for a half marathon, and I swore that the next year I would be back and would run another full marathon. Jodie had never ran a full marathon, but that day she promised to train and run it with me. Sure enough, she sacrificed months of personal time, and the next year we crossed the finish line together. I know she would do anything for me…including laughing at my horrendous dad jokes lol. I love my Jodie!! ❤️

Jen and I met soon after I met Rax. She played with Jodie on Rax’s kickball team. I knew we were opposites when I said I would not be diving, sliding, or risking injury playing adult kickball, and then I heard the story about how Jen tore her ACL…playing adult kickball. 😂 She takes seriously anything she commits to, and that’s also who she is as a friend. Jen is the realist to my daydreaming, the calm to my crazy, and the one who will make sure I don’t eat Cheetos and then wipe my hands on my dress on wedding day lol. Under all that seriousness is the softest heart you’ll ever meet. She’s a caretaker to the core, and I’m so lucky she’s my friend. ❤️

Lauren and I met through Jodie several years ago, and we have only become closer and closer friends over the years. When I think of Lauren, I think BOSS. She is strong, independent, brilliant, HILARIOUS, and all around one of my favorite humans. She will host a March Madness party, win her Fantasy Football league, and then go get a mani/pedi and dance all night with you at a boyband concert. I admire her more than she knows, I am sure. Lauren will celebrate your best days, and sit with you on your worst. And she will bring you champagne on both of those days. She’s simply the best, and I’m the luckiest to have her as a friend ❤️

Annabelle O’Bryan

Annabelle is our niece, daughter of Randy and Katie, and sister to Liam. She is as smart and funny as she is beautiful. I will always call her my first baby ❤️ 😍 It’s so special to have Liam and Annabelle as part of our wedding because Rax has known them as long as I have. While we won’t technically be married until November 6, they have had Uncle Rax their whole lives ❤️
