What should I do after the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will end around 3pm at St. Xavier and cocktail hour begins at 5:30pm at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. We recommend taking this time to explore Cincinnati — the ‘Things to Do’ tab includes our recommendations. Or use this time to relax at the hotel before cocktail hour starts!

What is the weather like in Cincinnati?

Answer

The November average high in Cincinnati is 53 degrees and the average low is 37 degrees. All wedding festivities will be indoors! We recommend checking the Cincinnati forecast as our wedding day approaches to ensure you pack appropriately.

What is an ‘unplugged’ ceremony?

Answer

Our mass at St. Xavier will be an unplugged ceremony. We ask there to be NO phones or cameras for the entirety of the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us! Thank you for respecting this — we promise to share the professional pictures with you. At the reception, take all the pictures and videos your heart desires!

Can I bring a date? Are kids invited?

Answer

Everyone who is invited in your party will be listed on your invitation and RSVP option. Unless specifically noted, this is an adults only wedding! We are happy to provide babysitter recommendations if needed.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire! For men, please wear a dark suit with tie. For women, please wear a cocktail or mid-length dress, or dressy pantsuit.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is parking in the lot adjacent to St. Xavier which is managed by Park Place Parking Company. For the reception, valet and self-parking are accessible at 410 Race Street. The self-parking option (Mabley Place Garage) is connected to the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.

Where in the Hilton is the Hall of Mirrors?

Answer

When you arrive at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, take the lobby elevator to Floor 3. Right off the elevator is where cocktail hour will be held!

Are there any other events during the weekend that I should know about?
