    Things To Do

Things To Do

Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

3411 Sherman Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46808
, (260) 427-6800

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is a lot of fun for the whole family. Admission is $15 per adult, $10 per child, and babies under one year are free. It's a lovely spot to spend a couple hours, especially if you're looking for something to do on Saturday morning.

Promenade Park

202 West Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 427-6000

This is a new park in Fort Wayne, with a large playground and walking trails along the river. It's near downtown and a great place to get outside and move when the weather is nice. We highly recommend!

DeBrand Fine Chocolates

10105 Auburn Park Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46825
, (260) 969-8333

If you have extra time during the day, you might check out a tour of DeBrand's Fine Chocolates. We hear there's even a free sample at the end, though we haven't tried it yet ourselves to find out.

The Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library

900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 421-1225

Fort Wayne, believe it or not, is home to one of the best genealogy centers in the country. If you're into that kind of thing, it's worth checking out!

Please use our indoor location, Ft Wayne’s Farmers Market - Only May to Sept

301 East Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802

The Fort Wayne Farmers Market (open year round, but the location changes depending on the season) is always a lot of fun. Check them out on Saturday morning!

Vintage Treasures Antique Mall

625 Coliseum Boulevard West, Fort Wayne, IN 46808

If you like antiques, check out some of our local shops. Vintage Treasures Antique Mall is a lot of fun, and we have many other antique stores as well. Check out recommendations at this link: https://www.visitfortwayne.com/blog/post/antique-shops-in-fort-wayne-18442/

Diocesan Museum

1103 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 424-1485

The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend has a small museum next to the cathedral downtown. Their hours are a bit sporadic, but it's worth the visit if you have time on Saturday morning.

The Old Fort

1201 Spy Run Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 437-2836

The fort is a replica of the original, but you can wander through and learn a bit about Fort Wayne's history.

Hyde Brothers Booksellers

1428 Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808
, (260) 424-0197

This is a great spot in Fort Wayne, but be careful. If you like books, you'll end up getting a little lost here. Also, they have cats, so beware if there are any allergies.

Fort Wayne Visitors Center

927 South Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, 260-424-3700
