FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mary Anne Casadaban and Aaron Riley
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire for the wedding and please note that the ceremony will be held in a Catholic church so we ask that our guests dress appropriately for the setting.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to necessity rather than choice, it is children of immediate family only. Nurslings are welcome. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invite!

Question

What are the plans for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

After the wedding on Friday, we're staying in Louisiana until we fly out for our honeymoon on Monday (Antigua!). We're hoping to spend additional time visiting with our friends and family as they experience New Orleans, so reach out if you're doing anything fun!

Question

I'm not Catholic, what should I expect for the ceremony?

Answer

We've both been fortunate to have friends and family with all different backgrounds and beliefs supporting us and loving us through our lives. Our Catholic ceremony consists of a traditional Mass along with the the reciting of our vows. The Mass takes roughly an hour start to finish and you'll find it's easy to follow along. Thank you for supporting us in this ceremony and sacrament!

Question

How did y'all meet?

Answer

We both grew up in southern Louisiana and moved to Denver to pursue adventure! While living in Denver, a mutual friend from Louisiana introduced us (thank you, Jason!). After a few years of friendship, we started dating in the Fall of 2022 and got engaged a little over a year later.

Question

You both have red hair....are you related?

Answer

Just kidding....although we have been asked this before.

Question

What does life look like for you in Denver?

Answer

Around Colorado, we've enjoyed camping a whole lot and snowboarding not as much as we would like. We've been blessed with incredible friends and spend much of our time sharing experiences and stories with them around campfires and kitchen tables. Since both of our families are out of state, we spend a lot of time traveling to visit them as well.
