Take a walk over the James River and enjoy rapids, rock formations, and a view of the downtown skyline. Walk up the steps on the south side and cut back on the paved trail to see the skyline. Look down on the historic footings of a bridge burned in the Civil War that is now used as a rock climbing wall. Fun fact: we got engaged on the bridge!
