Belle Isle

A favorite James River Trail Loop: Suggested parking: 22nd St Parking Lot, Parking lot, Richmond, VA 23225 Walk a 1.5 mile gravel Belle Isle Trail loop (stroller friendly) with options to extend. Suggested post-hike bites to eat nearby: - Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream 3600 Forest Hill Ave - WPA Bakery 3414 Semmes Ave, Richmond, VA 23225 (where are cake will be from)

T Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge

597 Tredegar St., Richmond, VA 23219

Take a walk over the James River and enjoy rapids, rock formations, and a view of the downtown skyline. Walk up the steps on the south side and cut back on the paved trail to see the skyline. Look down on the historic footings of a bridge burned in the Civil War that is now used as a rock climbing wall. Fun fact: we got engaged on the bridge! Park at Belle Isle parking lot Tredegar St, Richmond, VA 23219 (although it can be quite busy on weekend, and Saturday's 10k might make it difficult to access)

Maymont Farm

Maymont is a 100-acre green space in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. This is the address for the petting zoo.

Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery

A neat spot to see a hatchery. Check out the 2.2 mile easy walking trail through a beautiful swamp with Cypress trees.
