Zac and Mary met at Bay Port high school in Mr. McAllister's AP Government Class during their senior year. After a few group dates they hit it off and Zac asked Mary to be his girlfriend in Lambeau Field's parking lot on Nov 1, 2011 after Mary finished a work shift. The rest is history!

Zac planned a belated birthday getaway for Mary to Lake Geneva in August of 2020. They spent the day relaxing by the pool and playing cribbage. For the evening Zac had planned a fancy dinner in town. Zac surprised Mary with a walk near the water before their dinner reservation and proposed near a fountain. Mary's sister Abby was hiding close by and photographed the entire proposal which Mary always said she would have wanted. After the proposal Zac surprised Mary again with a private boat cruise and dinner around the lake. It was truly a perfect day!
