We first technically met in our Sociology of the Environment class at Washington State University in the fall of 2013. Winston did a presentation on the impact of climate change on bee populations while Mary presented on World Systems Theory. Romantic stuff. We studied together for the final exam at Zoe's (our mutual favorite cafe on campus) and learned that Winston would graduate in the spring while Mary would study abroad in Spain spring semester. After studying together for a few hours Mary said, "I guess see you never?" and Winston said "We'll see each other again." We went our separate ways. Ten months later in the fall of 2014, Mary went to meet a friend at Zoe's for lunch between classes and found her sitting at a table with Winston and Daniel getting her tarot cards read. Mary sat down and Winston said "I know you". We've been together since, give or take a week. Additionally: Sometime in the summer of 2014, Cappy and Mary were walking to Cappy's apartment when a group of boys shouted "You have beautiful hair" at them from a balcony in the same apartment complex. We would later learn this was Winston, Daniel, and Chris.
