The best wine bar! Located on the walking mall next to Ten Mile Brewery and Big Dipper Ice Cream. A perfect place for families. You can be in the walking mall area with wine or beer and enjoy the Helena summer evenings while the kids enjoy ice cream!
Old Salt Outpost
Best burger and potato wedges in Helena! Located on the walking mall so you can stroll the shops or get some ice cream after enjoying your meal!
General Mercantile
A Helena icon. It's part gift shop, part coffee shop and full of adventure. A must stop!
The Walking Mall
The Walking Mall is home to a variety of our favorite Helena places. You can spend hours walking through little shops or stopping to get a drink or food. Some of our favorite places are highlighted above but other favorites include, Montago (coffee), No Sweat Cafe (breakfast, cash only), The HUB (coffee and brunch), On Broadway (upscale dinner), Lucca's (Italian, reservations suggested), the Hopper (lunch), Taco Del Sol (lunch or dinner), The Windbag (dinner), and The Mediterranean Grille (dinner). There are so many places we love down here!

A Helena staple. Our favorite place to enjoy a beer after hiking or biking the Helena Trails.

A great place to take kids to work off some energy! The children's science museum is in the same area.
