Taylor and I met in high school in 2015. We had art class together and became best friends. When we met, we were both going through hard times. We both gave each other a missing piece of what we needed the most. We stayed friends until November 2020 when we realized we started to have the “more than friends” feelings for each other.

Since we live together keeping a proposal a secret was hard. I had my maid of honor, Ashley, and her partner, help me. Ashley kept the stuff needed to make this a wonderful weekend at her house. We acted as if this was just a normal weekend hang out; we made pottery together, went to a Murder Mystery, then the next day we made candles. All things to remember this weekend. Ashley and her partner then set up the site, with blankets, snacks, fairy lights, and (fake) candles all set up in a beautiful area next to the ocean. Taylor thought it was for someone else, but cried tears of joy once realizing it was all set up for her. She is truly a wonderful soul.
