Failla In Love

If you've asked Sam how we met, then you have probably heard one of the following stories: 1.) Sam was a patient in Mary's weight loss program who mustered up the courage to ask her out on a date after helping him lose weight. 2.) We met in line while waiting for a hot dog at a Chicago Cubs game. Regardless of how we met, we are thankful every single day that we did! We had our first date at a Greek restaurant in Schaumburg: Brousko. After that, it was a whirlwind of a year. We fell hard and fast for each other. In less than a year, we were engaged and bought our first house together!

Sam proposed to Mary on February, 9th, 2019 at the same restaurant they had their first date. The other two people who were supposed to join them for dinner that night were "sick and had to cancel." There was special entertainment that night, with a singer performing Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble (later on, Mary found out that Sam was responsible for organizing this entertainment). After ordering drinks and Saganaki, their song came on and Sam pulled Mary up to dance in the middle of the restaurant. This was not unusual, as Sam is always ready to dance, no matter where they're at. At the end of the song, Sam got down on one knee and proposed. A few seconds later, a group of close family and friends made their way out from their hiding spots in the kitchen! It was an absolutely perfect and unforgettable night.
