FAQs

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Since we host a Halloween Party each year, we’re turning our wedding into our biggest celebration yet with a Halloween Ball theme. Guests are welcome to wear costumes or festive formal attire, with a few ceremony-friendly guidelines. For the ceremony, please choose elegant looks inspired by Victorian, gothic, or Renaissance styles. For the reception, guests may embrace a wider range of costumes, including monsters, as long as costumes are not inflatable. If costumes aren’t your style, traditional formal wedding attire is welcome for all wedding events. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Because southeastern Wisconsin weather can vary in late October, with average highs in the mid 50s and lows in the high 30s, please dress in layers and plan accordingly.

Question

Parking?

Answer

All wedding day events are on the Ingleside grounds and within walking distance. Guests should reference the map for details. https://www.theinglesidehotel.com/images/uploads/hotel-map-black-and-white-JUNE.jpg Parking is complimentary for guests. Valet parking is not currently available.

Question

RSVP Details?

Answer

Please RSVP through the wedding website by September 15, 2026. After submitting your RSVP contact Mary with any updates or questions. Guests may bring a plus one. Please include information about your plus one in the RSVP. Children are welcome to attend the wedding day festivities; however, activities will not be specifically planned nor catered for children. Please include any children that may also be attending with your RSVP.

Question

Meals and Dietary Information?

Answer

Dinner will be served at 6 o’clock as part of the reception celebration. Please note any dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan gluten-free or allergies in the RSVP.

Question

Accessibility?

Answer

The Ingleside Hotel and ballrooms are fully wheelchair accessible, with barrier-free routes throughout the venue and private restrooms available. For overnight guests, the hotel offers mobility and hearing-accessible rooms featuring roll-in showers, accessible tubs, and raised toilets with grab bars. We encourage you to mention any accessibility needs when you contact the hotel front desk to ensure everything is arranged for your comfort.

Question

Designated smoking and vaping areas are available in outdoor spaces—simply ask the front desk for their exact locations. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted at the Ingleside unless provided by an approved caterer or included in the reception banquet package. Please refrain from bringing outside food, beverages, or coolers. The hotel welcomes up to two dogs per room for an additional $30 per dog per night. Please note that cats are not permitted.
