FAQs

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

After pulling in to the gated neighborhood of Shipwreck, you will drive to the street “Overlook Court”, in which you will turn left, then you can either reverse in or turn around at the driveway/end of the street, then park on the right side of the street across from the property. Please park in a line facing south. There will also be an accessible drop-off location at the front door walkway in between the 2 large trees. You can enter through the front door then make your way to the back terrace for the ceremony. After drop-off, please turn around at round about or driveway then park.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we have a very tight guest list and only have room for those invited. We are unable to add anybody else on to the guest list at this time. Please enjoy the night out “kid-free” if you can! If you have any concerns or questions please reach out to Mary or Ryan!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be short and sweet, and mainly standing room only for the guests. Please arrive between 4:00-4:20pm if you would like to see the ceremony, or anytime after 5:00pm for drinks and dinner!

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and dinner will be primarily outside so depending on weather it may be a good idea to bring a jacket! We will have a fire pit outside, lots of dancing indoors, and plenty of drinking! There is a bit of walking and lots of grass, please keep that in mind for your shoe of choice.

Question

Are there any rules of the property?

Answer

This home is almost 100 years old, so for the safety of our guests we do ask that you refrain from climbing or standing on any ledges or rocks.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail, formal, and semi-formal, but please be comfortable as it may get chilly and we will primarily be outdoors. There is a bit of walking and uneven/grassy surfaces so for women—flats, wedges, or chunky heels may be the best shoe of choice.
