Wedding Party

Meet the crazy people that have agreed to stand by us. Best of luck to all of them on the days before, the day of & all the days to follow.

Jamie Gyuras

Maid of Honor

My sister is my best friend. I feel so honored to have her right next to me on this huge day. Since she's the responsible one, I'm feeling really calm knowing she's in charge of planning & keeping my side straight. We all need a mama in the group. We are only a year & 2 days apart, meaning we basically grew up as twins. Jamie has always looked after me, while simultaneously being my partner in crime (on the down low). 800 characters isn't nearly enough to go through and pick apart the memories that we have together. Long story short, there is no Mary without Jamie. Thank you for the constant laughs, a few tears, a lot of 'Cooking Mama' & 'Dance, Dance Revolution', all of the rides to school, swim practice & the snuggly naps. I'll never love another human more than I love you.

Tommy Thayer (AKA Boots)

Best Man

HEY NOW. The man...the myth...the legend. He's been there for everything in my life & has kept me laughing the whole way. He is the funniest man I know. Anyone that knows Tommy knows he commands a room & will always be the funniest & loudest one around. He's also got a heart of gold & will help anyone with anything. He let me move into his house when I was 18 & built me a baseball pitching zone to help me practice. He always supported my dream of reaching the MLB. When Mary and I first got our house, he came over to teach me the ropes anytime I needed him. Love this man.

Jessica DelaPaz

Matron of Honor

Speaking of sisters...here's one that Jamie and I were gifted with a long time ago (not blood but she might as well be). Jessica was my neighbor growing up & she quickly became a best friend. I am lucky enough to say that after all this time, nothing has changed. In fact...she's my neighbor again. Unfortunately, she comes with a feisty Asian woman than I'm not too sure about. JK. Jess & Kimmie are Ryan & my other half. I don't think we do much without each other. In fact, Ryan says that he has 3 wives. Living next to your best friends - 10/10 would recommend.

Joey Thayer

Groomsman

The biggest bald-headed goofball you will ever meet. A lot of my humor comes straight from this crazy man. As a father of 200+ children, I aspire to be as good of a dad one day. We've always connected just by talking about the dumbest stuff....things only we would find funny, but we'd have each other rolling. Churches, doctor's offices, or anywhere else that we had to be "serious" was bad for us. If either of us started laughing or looked at each other - it was over. He is scared of the juggernaut in COD...what's wrong? GUN JAM?!

Samantha Dodson

Bridesmaid

Sam was always the girl that all the other girls wanted to be. Beauty. Brains. Sarcasm. Troublemakin' sweetheart. I was grateful that she regularly wanted to spend her time with me. All these years later & she still somehow wants to spend her time with me. Strange. But I'll take it. This girl has taught me so much about myself & about life in general. Sam was always 10 steps ahead of everyone else we associated with. Always the smartest one in the group. She taught me how to stand up for myself...how to wear push-up bras...and how to convince my mom to let me have sleepovers on school nights. Now being a mama of two beautiful babes, she has taught me everything I know about taking care of them & loving little humans unconditionally. I'll love you forever & a day, my girl.

Jon Spindler

Groomsman

This is my A1 Day 1 man right here. We have always done everything together. Growing up as cousins & best friends, we always had big dreams. We have grown up & surpassed so many goals - both independently & as a unit. We always want to be better & do more. He keeps me so motivated. People often think we're twins...we look like brothers & act like it too. Thanks for once being my partner in crime...and now being my partner in success.

Libby Exline

Bridesmaid

My Soul. Through & through. If there's anyone on this planet who fully gets me, it's Libby. She pops into my mind regularly throughout the day. When trouble strikes, I often find myself asking, "what would my hippie dippie do here?". She's the person who calls you to vent but somehow ends up taking on the role of the therapist instead? Sorry Lib. Liberachi is best described as a bright light in a world that can often seem very dim. We will spend hours laughing & talking - about nothing...and about everything. She's also equally as obsessed with the Imagine Dragons as I am & is always ready to hit their concerts with me. She doesn't take life too seriously & always has a positive outlook on things. I strive to be more like her.

JB Sapienza

Groomsman

This clown. The loudest, most obnoxious human. I met JB playing legion ball in high school & we've been close ever since. Now we do the old man things together...play some golf, drink some beer & crush salted caramel cookie skillets at Outback. They once had an unlimited shrimp option until JB and I made them rethink that choice. They brought out so many helpings to us one night, that they ran out of bowls. Needless to say, that isn't on the menu anymore. But....that cookie still is.

Demi Lewis

Bridesmaid

Oh Demi...my crazy, crazy Demi. I don't get to see you nearly as much as I'd like to, but it makes our moments together that much more special. Like I always tell you, I live vicariously through you. You are so full of life & adventure. I love that you set goals for yourself & you always surpass them. You are someone I know I can always have the BEST time with...while also holding a drunk intellectual conversation? Pretty cool. Pretty impressive. I'll keep you. You got me through our senior year. Psych. Chick-Fil-A. Nap. Study. Repeat. Don't know how I would have done HS without you & don't think I could ever do life without you. Thanks for being YOU & for loving me for me.

Eric Devinney

Groomsman

Good ole Devinney. We met playing baseball in High school & we have been boys for years. We lived together for a long time. We've been in the sticks...once loading boxes at UPS & doing other odd jobs just making it by. Now we're both doing IT, living the dreams that we once talked about. He's been by my side through many successes in my life, as I've been for him. We still manage to get rowdy & shut down the bar at Greene Turtle. Eric is the best drinking buddy ever...he has me rolling on the floor laughing as soon as he starts talking. This fool could be a stand-up comedian.

Bailey Blocker

Bridesmaid

Balls. Man...Have we grown or has the world decided to shrink? I can't think of a time that I didn't have you around. You will always be my OG bff. Though we were in the same grade, Bails is almost a full year younger than me. I was always very protective of her (sorry John. But I love you now if that makes up for it) & I still am. I miss this girl like CRAZY, but I find peace knowing the love between us is always going to be strong. When we get together, it is like no time has passed. Such a blessing. I think we've both really loved growing together. Baby Axel is lucky to have such a great mama. That boy already has a huge chunk of my heart. I love my Blockers.

Zac Thompson

Groomsman

Talk about a dedicated friend. Zac is just a good dude. We met at an IT job a long time ago & clicked right away. We were also roommates for a short period of time & were able to get really close that year. He's a great counterpart for me, as we've come up with so many business plans together. He's the business half & I'm the social half. He can take a project & run with it. He knows how to elevate any idea that I throw out there. I like to tell him that he has a "genius brain". Thanks for all the phone calls & the willingness to work out any crazy thoughts I've had & try to turn it into something great.

Grace Heinsey

Bridesmaid

Sweet Grace Olivia. Sometimes God really lets ya hit the jackpot with family...Grace is my jackpot. My mom's side of the family lives in PA which means we only get to see them a few times a year. Grace, being my cousin & being my same age, is always one of my biggest reasons for excitement the second I step into my grandparent's house. I always know she'll be there waiting & that's enough to make my heart sing the whole 3 hour trip there. I love that we have remained so close. Grace has such a fun & carefree way - making it so easy to spend time with her. She has the best personality. She can make an entire room laugh with one look. One word. One dance. or one "sign" - being proficient in ASL. She's a true blessing. Great friend. Great cousin. Great human.

Thomas Molino

Groomsman

This man...is an absolute nut. He is always trying to get into people's heads. He can out talk & out smart anyone so you've gotta keep your eye on him. He's someone you can either chill & have hour long eye-opening conversations with or...you can turn up and get wild. There is no in between. He's been a constant in my life & we've always had the best time together, since we were kids. Even though he lives in South Carolina now, we still manage to get together and have a blast.

Dominic Butler

Bridesman

How can I keep my wedding old fashioned when I have a best friend like Dom? Answer is...I can't. Sorry not sorry. I can't think of a friend more deserving. I think anyone else who is lucky enough to have this man in their life can attest to what I'm saying. Dom is the most genuine & kind-hearted human I think I've ever met. He will always answer my FT calls & will allow me to ramble on and on. He is always willing to give me advice & "a man's perspective" on things, which I'm always super grateful for. What a goofball too. His one liners will always put a smile on my face. Thank you for being so unapologetically true to yourself. You are so smart, so driven & so positive. Thanks for always dropping by to see me & for checking in on me. I don't deserve you but I'm grateful to have you.

Tom Thayer

Groomsman

Another lifelong brother that I met while playing baseball. This man is CRAZY. Always getting into something. We have successfully convinced people that we're family, thanks to the good ole "Thayer" name. If you don't know Tom, you'd think he has mad RBF...but once you get to know him, you learn that he's got the biggest heart ever. Just make sure you don't cross him. He'll lock you up.

Russell Gyuras

Bridesman

Good ole Russ. Hands down the best big brother a girl could ever ask for. Looking back, I can't remember a single time Russell was ever mean to me or Jamie . Just a genuinely good person. In the middle of the night, for no apparent reason, I'd scurry down to the basement to say hi. I'd always be met with a "Hey Kiddo" and an open invitation to hangout. How special is that? He'd talk to me for hours & stay up playing that James Bond game with me. There were few people I was patient with, but Russ was always someone I wanted to learn from. He's so knowledgeable & I've always been eager to hear what he has to say. To this day, I still receive "Hey Kiddo" on the other end of the phone & I smile. Also, he's an incredible father to my new niece. I'm already so in love with her, it's crazy.

Ashdon Sharp

Groomsman

YESSSSUHHH. Ashdon is like a brother to me. I've known him since he was a kid & he's always been the most goofy nut...taking after his 2nd dad; good ole Boots. Ashdon is someone I can always have a blast with. The kid can GET DOWN & be wild but he is also one of the hardest working people I know. I have never seen someone go to sleep at 3 am & wake up at 4 for work consistently...I don't know how he does it. It's that young blood. Sometimes you have to put it on the high side & gouuuuge on 'er.

Michael Neeley

Groomsman

My little brother. He's a man of few words...but once you get him talking, he'll start crackin wise and you won't know what to do with him. He's got something I like to call "sleepy humor". He's super quiet & soft spoken with his delivery...but he's hittin homeruns with his words. He would always let me win at wiffle ball & I'd let him win at being a dumbass. He's also got an artistic edge to him, something I wish I had. #YourBeardIsWeird #420strong
