A common misconception but no umbrellas are manufactured here. Instead, The Fantastic Umbrella Factory is an eclectic shopping experience on an old Charlestown farmstead.

Locally roasted coffee and delicious baked goods -- careful though, the line can get a little long on the weekends.

Pop into Downtown Westerly for a drink and bite to eat at one of our favorite spots -- don't miss out on the pretzels!

A favorite for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite on the go. Dine-in or take out. 
(Fun Fact: Mary used to work here in high school)

If you need some salt air, check out East Beach in Charlestown. It's often less crowded than Misquamicut.

September is the best time of year to take a stroll in Watch Hill. Come for the shopping but don't leave without grabbing a scoop (or two) of ice cream at St. Clare's.
