Update/ Announcement

We do not have a gift registry. Since we have lived together for several years now, we do not need typical wedding gift type things (kitchenware, house decorations, etc.). Instead we prefer cash, venmo, or gift cards. We would love to travel and so that is the gift we would like to recieve. Thank you in advance!

Our Story

Just Friends... Then More

Paul and Mary met when they were freshman at Rancho Buena Vista High School. They had P.E. together for one year before Mary transferred to Vista High. They lost touch for a couple years until through a mutual acquaintance they reconnected. Senior year of high school they were best friends, growing closer and closer as time went on. By the time they were 21, Mary would stay over at Paul's house all the time and their friendship seemed unbreakable. One day however, everything changed. They went to Disneyland with a couple of friends and something clicked for Paul. During the fireworks show, he began to see Mary in a different light. He wondered why he had never thought of Mary as more than a friend, but now he did. After revealing those feelings to Mary, she initially did not reciprocate those feelings. Then, a few weeks later while Paul was out of town, Mary realized that she actually liked Paul back. Mary and Paul kissed for the first time on Paul's 22nd birthday and from then on they were inseparable. After living together for three years, getting a puppy together, and then being apart for two months while Mary was pursuing the Disney College Program, Paul proposed. He picked her up at LAX and when her back was turned to hug her mom, Paul got down on one knee. When Mary turned around she instantly starting crying. They had to hurry up and get back in the car though because they were in a loading zone and security was staring (LOL). Mary said yes and the engagement bliss began. Their love story isn't picture perfect, there were many up and downs like any relationship, but through thick and thin they stayed together because it was worth it. They are so excited to get married and start a family together and feel so honored to have their friends and family by their sides for this special day.
