Michael and I have spent many hours here, going to daily and Sunday mass, confession, and adoration. It is by far the most beautiful church in Lincoln and worth a visit! Located in downtown Lincoln, this would be an quick and easy spot to visit.

I remember visiting the Nebraska State Capitol as a child and it is definitely a piece of architecture worth seeing, both inside and out!

Whether you're 7 or 70, Holmes Lake is the perfect place if you're looking to get some exercise or relaxation in the great outdoors. Take a stroll around the beautiful lake, let your kids get rid of some energy on the big playground, or take some food and enjoy a picnic by the water! Note that this is on the SE side of Lincoln so it would be a further drive if you're staying downtown i.e., NW side.
