Our ceremony will be taking at the Centre Congregational Church located at 193 Main St, Brattleboro, VT 05301. The ceremony will begin at 4pm EST with the reception and cocktails to follow.
Yes, plus ones are welcome! We ask that you bring a significant other or partner only. Special arrangements can be made to bring a friend; we ask that you reach out to the bride/groom for approval.
Yes, we will have an open bar! We will be serving two signature cocktails along with a bear, wine and cider option.
We would describe our dress code as semi-Formal or dressy Casual. Think polished but comfortable. A dressy skirt and top, midi dress, or suit (no tie required). Suitable for daytime or outdoor weddings.
For the wedding ceremony, parking is available on-site behind the church and is free for all guests. Signs and attendants will guide you when you arrive. There should also be plenty of parking at the reception location. If parking becomes tight at the Governor Hunt House, feel free to park at the Vernon Elementary School right across the street.
We would recommend flying in/out of Bradley International Airport (BDL). It is about an hour and 15 minute drive from Vernon, VT. Boston is also a good option if you're looking for a cheaper flight; however it is about a 2hr drive to Vernon, VT.
New England this time of year is beautiful and offers many cute bed and breakfasts. This option is a bit more pricy but makes up for it with the rustic hometown vibes. There are also Air B&B's which are great for larger groups. The last option is a normal hotel! I'd say there are plenty but this is out in rural New England so hotel options are limited. I would recommend booking something asap as foliage season will be upon us an hotel options book out quickly this time of year.
