We recommend staying at the Spring House Hotel. Most of our formal events will occur there, however, the Spring House requires a two night minimum stay. There are a variety of wonderful accommodations on Block Island, from historic inns to waterfront resorts. We recommend booking your accommodations as early as possible, as summer weekends fill quickly. Some additional accommodations are The National Hotel, Block Island Beach House, The Atlantic, and 1661 Resort.
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy the festivities, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.
There is no formal dress code for the weekend festivities, however for Saturday's Celebration, we would love to see our friends and family in their best coastal formal attire. For our time around town on Friday and Saturday night for the after party, feel free to be a bit more relaxed while still embracing the festivities! We also recommend bringing comfortable shoes, as there may be some walking involved throughout the weekend, unless you plan to use taxi services.
If you're arriving before Saturday's Celebration, we hope you'll explore and enjoy Block Island has to offer! Relax at one of the island's beautiful beaches, including Crescent Beach and Mansion Beach. Explore the island by bike or moped. Stroll through Old Harbor to browse local shops, grab an ice cream, or enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the water. Spend the afternoon on a boat tour, fishing charter, or paddleboard adventure. Enjoy fresh seafood, waterfront cocktails, and live music at one of the island's many restaurants and bars.
