We do not have a registry. The only gift we ask for is your company on our big day! If you still feel the need to give a gift for the bride and groom, please donate to a charitable organization of your choosing. Here are a few of our favorites: St. Jude Children's Hospital, The Pulmonary Hypertension Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society. You can also go to the Registry page on this site and donate to our Charity cash fund and we will donate on your behalf.
As soon as possible. Please RSVP on the RSVP page of this site.
We recommend arriving to town by October 9th so you can get settled and checked in to your hotel the day before the wedding.
All guests are confirmed at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary. There is no need to reserve your own room because your reservation has already been made on your behalf. Check-in is at 3pm on Oct 9th and check-out is at 12pm on Oct 11th. Please let the bride or groom know if you need additional nights as soon as possible and if you have any special room requests. Included in your stay is a breakfast buffet. There is free Wi-Fi in your room and all public areas of the property. There is also a small indoor pool and hot tub.
The ceremony will be held outdoors in the gardens of the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC. The reception will be held at Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern.
After spending the morning getting ready, guests will travel to the ceremony venue. The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm with formal pictures to follow. Finally, all guests will be taken to the reception venue for dinner. You can also take a look at the Schedule page on this site which lists a detailed timeline of all activities for the wedding day.
We ask that you refrain from using your phone and cameras especially during the ceremony. There will be professional photographers and videographers who will capture everything for us. We hope that everyone can stay unplugged as much as possible throughout the day.
Transportation has been arranged to take all guests to the venues.
Semi-formal is recommended, but it's completely up to you! Be comfortable, but since this is a once in a lifetime event for us feel free to get dressed up for the occasion! The bride will be wearing a formal gown and the groom will be wearing a suit. The ceremony will be outside in a garden and the reception will be in a private room at an upscale restaurant.
