We're embracing a "coastal chic" aesthetic that blends refined sophistication with the relaxed beauty of seaside living. **For Women:** Consider airy floral dresses, soft pastels, and breathable fabrics like linen or silk. **For Men:** Navy or light-colored suits or preppy colored blazers paired with chinos are perfect. **Footwear:** Since our ceremony takes place on the lawn and beach, we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats to keep you comfortable on the sand. **A Note on Layers:** Given our waterfront setting and potential evening breezes, please bring a shawl, sweater, or blazer to stay cozy as the day winds down.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, parking will be available at Shining Tides for guests who drive to the venue. A detail officer will be on-site to direct you to your spot. We highly recommend taking advantage of our complimentary shuttle service to and from the Fairfield Inn and Suites in New Bedford. If you're staying elsewhere, Uber or Lyft are convenient alternatives.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:00pm. If you're joining us via shuttle, you can expect to arrive at the venue around 4:30pm. For those driving independently, we kindly ask that you arrive by 4:45pm, giving you time to settle in, enjoy a welcome refreshment, and find your seat before we begin.
