The 15 year plan finally came to end on a very hot Friday night! We headed down to our cabin with plans to spend the night there, little did I know that Kirby had much bigger plans! He took me on a trail ride and we stopped at my favorite spot that we call the lookout. There Kirby got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! For what he actually said I have no idea, as I blacked out kind of, but I do know it was the easiest yes! :)

I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was in Mrs. G's 8th grade English Class when the new kid walked in the door. It just happened to be Kirby :) We were lucky enough to be friends throughout high school before reconnecting in our 20's. My Junior Year of college at UNI we officially took our friendship to the next level and started dating! There were countless trips back and forth from Cedar Falls to Edgewood, a study abroad trip to Greece before I made the leap, and moved to Edgewood to live with Kirby! Many memories and two pups later we are here and ready to become Husband & Wife!
