Keshun & I met in January 2023 at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. If you know us, you know we both love sports. I’m a big football fan (Go Vols) & he loves basketball (Go Duke). It was during March Madness 2023 that we started talking over sports. Tennessee beat Duke in the tournament (never forget) & I had to give him a bit of a hard time over the loss. Two days later Tennessee lost a game and was disqualified from the tournament…yes, the life of Tennessee fans—we are quickly humbled. Needless to say, sports brought Keshun & me together. On April 9th we went to church & then brunch at First Watch where he asked me to be his one & only. Keshun moved to Knoxville in June for a job, but the long distance never hindered us. It showed us how much love we have for each other—no matter the distance. We knew we were meant to be & we were determined to keep the relationship going. We have had some of the best times—beach trip, pool days, Tennessee football games, Keshun’s first Duke basketball game, gym dates, first holidays together & just simply being together every chance we can. On January 13th in Gatlinburg, he got down on one knee & asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes! The best day ever! In our time together, we both have seen God’s goodness, kindness & faithfulness in each other & our relationship. We cannot thank God enough for bringing us each other & for the gift of marriage. We can’t wait to celebrate with you soon & start our forever! Xoxo, Mary & Keshun
