Doreen is a treasured street performer that can generally be found on the intersection of Royal St. and St. Peter St. One of the best clarinetists we have ever heard, her rendition of the “House of the Rising Sun” will send shivers down your spine. She has played for 4 US Presidents but she still loves to play on the streets of the quarter. Make sure to tip with any requests.
For some of the best live music Nola has to offer, venture over to Frenchmen Street. Be sure to check out d.b.a., Snug Harbor, The Spotted Cat, Blue Nile, The Maison, Three Muses, and Apple Barrel.
One of our favorite streets in the French Quarter for street performers, shopping, etc.

You can purchase a full-day pass for only $3 via the RTA app which gives you access to ride all streetcar lines (canal, riverfront, st charles, etc) for a cheap, scenic way to get around the city all day (and night! — the st charles line runs 24/7.)
