We accept telephone reservations during our open season (mid-May to mid- October) 24-hours a day, and during our closed season (mid-October to mid-May) from 8am-4pm EST Monday-Friday. The first night’s room and tax (17%) will be due at the time you make your reservations. The deposit is refundable (less a $25 fee) up to ten days prior to your arrival, should you need to cancel.

Carriage Taxis
Mackinac Island Carriage Tours offers a horse-drawn shuttle service between the ferry docks and Stonecliffe for a fee. However, if you choose to walk or ride your bike, your luggage can be transported free of charge. Simply look for the Stonecliffe porter at the dock (he will be calling out for Stonecliffe guests). Note that if you decide to ride the shuttle, the driver accepts cash only. Shuttle times vary, depending on the time of the season and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours office at 906-847-3323 for shuttle information.

Shepler's Ferry
To reach Mackinac Island, you will need to take a ferry from either Mackinac City or St. Ignace. We recommend Shepler's Ferry out of Mackinaw City. IMPORTANT: The ferry schedule typically runs from 8am- 8pm. IMPORTANT: The Bridge will be closed Monday, Sept 6 from 8-12 for the annual Bridge Walk event.
