Yes, a valid U.S. passport is required for all travelers entering Mexico. Make sure your passport is not expired and will be valid for the duration of your trip.

The closest airport is Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR), located about 30 minutes from Casa Valerie where we will be getting married.

Do I need to exchange money?

Answer

U.S. dollars are accepted in many places in Puerto Vallarta, but having some pesos on hand is helpful for tips and small purchases. ATMs are widely available.

How do I get from the airport to where I am staying?

Taxis and ride-share services are available, but we recommend pre-booking a shuttle or private transfer through the resort or a trusted provider.

When do we arrive? When do we depart?

This is completely up to you! The wedding will take place on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, with a welcome event and dinner on Friday, March 27th. You’re welcome to stay for one night or make it a full vacation—this is your getaway too! We do recommend arriving on Thursday, just in case of any travel delays that could impact your arrival before the festivities begin.
