Mary and Javier met each other Summer of 2017 at their first job at Brookdale Senior Living. They were both dining room servers at the time as a junior and senior in high school. Their friendship flourished and they found a liking to each other in just a short amount of time. Needless to say, the elderly residents at Brookdale could feel the spark that they had for one another. Their first date was on New Year's Day 2018 at Smuggler's Cove Mini Golf on the beach and pizza right after for dinner at Pieology. On January 28th, 2018, Javier asked Mary to be his girlfriend where she gladly accepted and on September 16th, 2024, Javier proposed to Mary in Iceland while chasing the northern lights, and the rest is history... <3
