We are asking all guests to don attire that represents each guests interpretation of the divine. Weather that is a specific god or goddess from historical mythology, a figure from a specific spirituality or faith, or representations of nature, such as elves, fairies, the 4 elements, or mushrooms. All guests are encouraged to go "all out"- we want our wedding to feel like a fancy masquerade ball. (for all you millennials out there)- Let's slay queens! Lastly, we are encouraging all guests to include a mask with their attire, again, think Phantom of the Opera masquerade ball. If you need any suggestions for where to acquire appropriate dress please reach out, we have plenty of ideas!
We have a relatively small guest list and are only allowing a limited number of plus ones. Please contact the brides directly if you would like to bring a plus 1.
We are getting married at Janus's mom's farm. It is in the woods above Harrisburg, so please be advised of the outdoor nature of the venue. We will be working hard over the summer to eliminate the chance of tics and other woodland creatures and will be providing bug spray for guests. Parking will likely be in a grassy field.
Yes. A very good family friend is catering the reception, and another very good family friend is baking our desserts! We will have vegetarian, gluten free, non-dairy, kosher, and other dietary options covered.
