Mary and Jack met in Eau Claire, WI the last month of the 2017 school year during a worship night at a local church. Only a handful of words and a few smiles were exchanged. Before we knew it, we were meeting for coffee at the local study spot. Being quite the runner, Mary naturally shared the story of her first time peeing her pants during a race. After a few hours of conversation (that felt like minutes!), a couple cups of coffee and many laughs, Jack knew he had found the one. Mary couldn't get enough of Jack's undeniable witty sense of humor and rugged good looks. She decided to give him another date. Following a summer of driving to and from Duluth/Twin Cities, we were ready to hit the ground running back in Eau Claire for the 2018 school year. As God would have it, our houses were within two blocks of each other! The year was filled with many dates, runs, laughs, long nights of studying, and so many more wonderful memories made. Post graduation in 2018, Jack moved back to the Twin Cities while Mary finished up her studies in EC, graduating in 2019 and then heading to St. Cloud to pursue her masters in Speech Language Pathology. Two years after meeting and a year in separate states, we got engaged! Not enough can be said about how thrilled we are for this next stage in our relationship and the gratitude to Jesus for bringing us together!
