Kids are welcome at the church. We are having an adults-only reception, except for immediate family and those playing a role in our ceremony. Thank you in advance for making arrangements for your kids- we promise to make the party worth the hassle!
The wedding ceremony and mass will last approximately 45 -60 minutes. The priest will lead all of us in the rituals of a Catholic mass, which include a sequence of kneeling, standing, sitting, recitation, and singing. The priest will also invite Catholics to receive communion which includes a procession to the front of the church. If you are not a practicing Catholic, you may respect the ritual by remaining in your seat for Communion. A Catholic ceremony is important to us and we invite all those who are comfortable to attend. You are more than welcome to attend only the reception at Spring Garden- we look forward to celebrating with you!
Nope! A great part about getting married in our mid-30s is that we already have accumulated all the household necessities we need! If you have a specific gift you want to give us, we will humbly accept it, but we do not have any specific needs to fill a registry.
Yes! A bus will leave the Hampton Inn in East Aurora at 3:30 PM. There will be two bus runs back to East Aurora at 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
Sure can- if we forgot to give you a +1 on your invite, please RSVP with plenty of notice so we can adjust for your date.
Semi-formal. We want our wedding to feel like a celebration, but please dress in a way that will be comfortable for you to move indoors and outdoors. The venue has a gravel beer garden and wooden interior floors. There is a steep walk between the parking area and the venue, but we will have a golf cart running for much of the evening.
